Silence of the Bulls

I guess that's really Cylence.
We pulled a few Simmental bulls today. Time to start thinning them out since most of their work is done already. It just keeps the fighting down and they are bored any way. My cowboy says it's time for them to play bull poker and brag about the ladies.

Roxy thought she was helping but . . .

When the bulls first come out they are treated with Cylence. I don't think it was done quite right because I thought it lasted for 60 days.

Anyway we treated them again before we turned them out in the bull pasture where they will stay until the first part of October when they go home to their farmers to be pampered for the winter. We just squirt it on from a syringe. Works slick.

I wonder what this young guy was thinking when we let him go.

And I wonder what this old guy was thinking when we let him go.

And I wonder what these pretty flowers are. Guess I'm just a girl (hired man or not).

Yep, you can't let the boys get bored or they tear stuff up!

Boy that was a lot of flies! I wonder if all the rain and heat helped to use up the product faster (though it is an oil base right?)
I am bettin thoses boys thought "hey where are all the girls?"The flowers are pretty ,a hired hand can still be a girly girl if she wants to !

Haha. They're probably wondering where the girls are. ;)

Or maybe they're glad they're in the pasture and not at the butcher shop. :)

Very pretty flowers. :)

I love how he's looking back at you in the picture! Great shot of the bulls!

Well; I'd guess the bulls were thinking,"I did my job well", and I'd guess your cowboy is thinkin' the exact same thing!

They were probably thinking it will be a relief not to have to deal with all the flies.
