You know you've won, in life, when people pay you to do what you would pay them to let you do

A Hard Days Week

Aaah. I can't believe how tired I am. I got home after 5:30 PM. and spent since 9:30 AM finding cows, moving cows, finding more cows, moving those cows, finding cows, moving cows . . .  You get the picture.

Finally Blue and I just sat down in the grass and had a break. That was around noon. Then more finding cows, moving cows . . .

I did scare up this humungous mule tail. I couldn't get any closer so the picture of him is kind of small.

I almost thought he was an elk he was so big and fat. That was the only excitement. The rest was finding cows, moving cows. . .

Oh that deer makes me want to go get my hunting licence! Jerky, sausage, roasts, MMMMM!
Blue looks all tuckered out.

"Finding cows, moving cows..." I wish I had such a talent! It seems so "romantic" to be on a horse, on the prairie, in the open air...and I guess it is...for the first hour!! But so many hours... wow, I doubt I would be able to walk for a week!
Thanks so much for sharing!! It's just really nice to hear that people such as you are living really real lives; lives that see and smell and know the earth so well!
God bless!

Very well done you!.....It cant be easy doing all that, even if it has a romantic feel. That Deer is really something.

Wow that sounds exhausting, you should get some help out there. Let me know I can come help sometimes (if im not busy, lol) I just need to know when. Then you can tire us both out.

We only have White Tailed deer around here. I've never seen a Mule Deer other than at Cabela's :) I think I lead a sad life ;)
