If You Knew Me. . .

My cowboy is off trading work with the neighbor boy this morning so I'm doing girl stuff today. So probably no great nature experience to blog about. But Nicole did this and I thought it was fun to hear more about her (lucky kid is on her honey moon) so I thought I might try it too.

If you knew me you'd know:

• One of my weaknesses is being unorganized but I have worked so hard on it that I think it might, now, be one of my strengths.
• I'm very tender hearted especially when it comes to animals or children.
• My first thought when something goes wrong is:  What can I do to make this better?

• I wanted to be a boy right up until I found my cowboy. (Now I'm sooo glad I'm a girl).
• My admiration for my Lord and Saviour is very profound and deep. I reverence his name and say it only rarely and with great respect.
• I love being a mom of daughters and think of every young woman as being one of my own.
• I try to turn bad things that happen to me into something good. (like the bull/French cooking thing)
• I learned to rope and ride so I could be a cowboy's sweetheart because I liked Wilf Carter, the Canadian singer and that was in his song.
• I think work is a good thing.
• I hate Charolais bulls in general but actually like a few in particular.
• I think of the man in the moon as my friend. (I have no idea why.)
• My favorite household task is doing laundry.
• I think we should have Christmas twice a year maybe because the only songs I can almost sing are Christmas carols.
• I can swear like a sailor but choose not to.
• I know some angels (that wear cowboy hats).
• My favorite time of year is Autumn.
• I like dogs better than cats but I like cats a lot.
• I was a cub and scout leader and can light a fire with one match.
• I like to write stories and poetry.
• I know better than to pray for patience.
• My goal, in life, is to live so I can go Home.
